We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Quality Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance quality, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the department and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies. The position as Quality Manager shall contribute to the overall strategic development to fulfill both customer and internal expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Continuous improvement:
- Deep understanding of customer quality requirements.
- Control internal product and process quality, and customer quality requirements are met.
- Introduce all necessary measures in case of any quality issue in the process or customer claim.
- Promote best practice sharing.
- Drive daily improvements in all processes.
- Support and mentor the continuous improvement culture implementation.
Environment, Health & Safety:
- Ensure all requirements are fulfilled according to Laws and Regulations.
- Control all audits performed.
- Maintain awareness and compliance of EH&S in accordance with best practice and legal requirements.
Human Resources:
- Establish goals and objectives, subordinate team, and monitor realization, support, and improve job performance.
- Implement competence development plans.
- Conduct and record annual performance appraisals.
- Monitor, review, and address personnel underperformance, maintain appropriate records in accordance with company procedures.
Customer Service:
- Maintain proactive, dynamic, and effective communication with customers and key suppliers.
- Offer flexible and helpful customer service to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Operational Performance:
- Define, implement and monitor KPIs and implement actions and measures to stay competitive.
- Control all associated department costs according to the prevailing annual budget forecast.
- Measure and reduce cost of poor quality to expected level.
- Manage changes to meet current business requirements.
- Develop, implement and maintain the quality strategy.
Requirements
- Work experience in a leadership role managing teams.
- Solid knowledge about quality management.
- Education level at Bachelor or Master level within manufacturing, economy or technology, preferably within electronics, mechanics, automation or process industry.
- Documented leadership and management skills.
- Understanding of Quality Standards.
- Analytical and structured thinking skills.
- Performance management skills.
- Excellent project, planning, change and time management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP and MES systems.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Relevant industrial experience.
- Openness and innovative attitude.
- Fast decision-making skills.
